Our Vision and Values

CHRIST:
We are, above all, followers of Jesus Christ

COMMUNITY:
A healthy, growing, community of faith

CALL:
Sharing God’s Grace with the World

We are followers of Jesus Christ, committed to using everything we are and everything we have, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to accomplish the most we can for the Kingdom of God. We gather to share together in the grace of God, and respond together to the call of God to share that grace with others. 

We experience and respond to the grace of God through:

• Worship and Prayer
• Reflection upon the Scriptures
• Living together in a healthy growing community of faith
• Serving those in need in our community and world
• Inviting others to join with us in following Jesus, experiencing God’s grace, and answering God’s call.

We believe that God has called us to be a church that is advancing the Kingdom of God by working with other followers of Jesus to:

• Serve those in poverty, prison, or pain in our community and world
• Begin additional churches that share our vision of passion for Christ, the lost, and the underprivileged
• Assist financially-challenged growing churches serving poor communities
• Become by example a source of encouragement and vision for hundreds of churches in long term decline
